 A good friend once shared a real life story where the wife came to know that her husband is gay and has a boyfriend too. She was devastated and did not know whom to approach. Why did the man marry her if he was aware of his sexuality? The answer lies in the value system of our society. Society dictates that LGBT communities lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender are not Gods work but the devils. They are not given their due respect in society and are frowned upon. This leads many young men and women in entering into relationships that are accepted by the society.


But in recent times, many lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgender people have slowly started coming out of the closet and admitting their sexuality to themselves and the society. Many countries have now legalized homosexuality and this has made the gay, transgender, bisexual and lesbian community to rejoice. Most recently, the Asian country of India which is home to Hindus, Sikhs, Muslims, and Jews too has legalized homosexuality.
